This blog is about all sorts of things. It is about things that make he angry or happy, things that amuse me, inspire me, resources for writers, and occasionally an interview or an essay, a book or film review, or a free short story or novel excerpt.
And of course, I’m selling something. I’m selling myself, my words, my usefulness to you. I am useful.
I’m a writer, so I will write for money. I can do other stuff, too. Check out my clips for a sense of my range, though I am clever and can learn enough to write well on any topic in a reasonably short amount of time. I am happy to do book reviews.
Here’s my crunchy bio
April Line has been freelancing as an editor and writer since 2008. She’s a writer, editor, teacher, blogger, thinker, journalist, and life liver. She’s holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing. Her fiction appeared in Sou’Wester in 2006. She is presently an MFA candidate at Wilkes University.
Her clients have gone on to publish with Sourcebooks, NAL, and self-publish; they have received queries for full MSes from Agents and Editors; they have learned a great deal about craft, and most of them had fun while doing it.
April also works as a staff editor with Evolved Publishing, as a non-credit instructor of Creative Writing at Pennsylvania College of Technology’s WDCE program, and offers writing workshops independently from her space at The Pajama Factory in Williamsport, PA.
She lives in Northern PA with her child and man friend.
